It was in 2014, when Mr. Fogarty was taking his level four CSIA exam one that one of the examiners introduced him to Herb Ratsch and Marc Perreault. While at dinner at the Quintessence hotel, the three founders realized they had the elements to build an amazing snow polo event for the Mont-Tremblant and International community relying on the strengths of the team to bring their respective expertise together to make the vision a reality.
In 2015, the first ever Snow Polo event at Mont-Tremblant was an overwhelming success. Mr. Fogarty is grateful to his friends and connections from the Toronto Polo club for their help in making last year’s event possible.
Mr. Fogarty has since bought a house here in Mont-Tremblant with his wife Astrid and daughter Alexandra where they pursue their passion for skiing in the winter and Tennis and cycling in the summer when not playing polo in Toronto or around the world.
One day the Fogartys‘ hope to start a polo club right here in Mont-Tremblant so that new players and veterans alike can enjoy the sport in these beautiful surroundings. Given Mr. Fogarty’s track record as a builder of things I would start planning on playing polo in Mont-Tremblant sooner than later
